I have been shocked to see somebody who is painting at this level just after two years, I can’t wait to see what she does next.

Light color, dark color, colors meeting and creating new shades, colors prevailing over others, and ultimately colors bringing light and illuminating other colors. This is what happens in Franca Lavorato’s canvases, and this is humanity. Skirts, gestures, glances, hands, bodies, collective music then interrupted by events. Everything intertwines, fades, and then reassembles. Humanity is predictable, color is timeless.

Franca Lavorato paints emotions, moods, her personal visions… freely, without constraints, without the worry of perfecting or refining the details…

Franca Lavorato’s art satisfies her insatiable desire to share her life’s experience by placing her thoughts on canvas.
The art provides unique and emotional insight into her life’s path. She has earned membership in the fraternity of those who find their “voice” late in life.
Among those authors, artists, scientists who developed a yearning to assign meaning to their life’s she stands out as unique.
Few exhibit the tenacity, and skill to express themselves so well. Her paintings provoke, and shed light on topics we would all benefit from reflecting upon.

To experience her work is a privilege!
