Franca Lavorato began her artistic activity as a self-taught artist at the age of fifty-three, driven by the desire to depict the feelings of the people around her, and to help them overcome their difficult, sad moments.

Art is for her a form of care, towards others and herself.
Her entire personality and inner world emerge through color and line.
